Bio
Alexis Skibinski believes healing begins when individuals feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and understood. Her goal is to provide a compassionate, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients can explore life’s challenges, discover their strengths, and experience meaningful growth. Alexis earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and served 12 years in the United States Army as a Religious Affairs Specialist. Her military experience has shaped her understanding of resilience, trauma, and the importance of connection. She enjoys working with clients navigating emotional regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, and life transitions, helping individuals better understand their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. When working with children, she also incorporates creative interventions to help them express emotions, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills. Alexis believes everyone deserves a space where they can show up authentically, without judgment or expectations—reminding clients that they don’t have to have everything figured out to begin healing, and they don’t have to navigate that journey alone.
